With Belgian and Bavarian roots wheat beer is top fermented and brewed with a large proportion of wheat to malted barley. Golden and hazy in appearance wheat beers are bright, fruity and aromatic, with flavours of banana, clove, and citrus fruit thanks plentiful yeast esters.
